International Graduate Summer School
 
The NITIM 2017 Summer School (June 24th – 26th, 2017) will take place on Madeira, Portugal. Ph.D. candidates submitted successfully proposals for evaluation and notification of acceptance have been sent out. The full proposal (or paper), which will form the basis of the discussion and feedback at the Summer School, is due by May 5th.

This Summer school is affiliated to the ICE/IEEE conference, subsequent to the NITIM Summer School. ICE and NiTiM are two separate events, but a discount will be offered to those who choose the package of both events. Please note that the early-bird fee will only be available until April 15th. We strongly advise you to register and book as soon as possible, as this ensures a quick and smooth organizational process.

The summer school will take place in the Pestana Ocean Bay Hotel. The accommodation option can be chosen between the conference Hotel Pestana Ocean Bay or a cheaper option, the Youth Hostel, which is accessed by bus (10 min) or on foot (30 min). The accommodation at the hotel includes an all inclusive package for food and drinks and is therefore recommended for the participants.
If you wish to extend your stay, the all inclusive package price is still valid.
In addition, it is advisable to book your flights soon, as Madeira is a popular destination during the month of June. Flight prices are likely to rise quickly and availability of hotel rooms cannot be guaranteed.
