Abstract Submission
NITIM Summer School 2026

About NITIM

The NITIM Doctoral School facilitates the development of doctoral research in the interdisciplinary field of Networks, Information, Technology and Innovation Management, bringing together PhD candidates and faculty members in a focused, in-depth, and constructive discussion of the candidates’ research work.

The summer school is affiliated to the IEEE ICE/ITMC conference, and the 2026 NITIM Summer School will take place in Porto on June 22nd – 24th 2026, just before the 32nd ICE2026 conference.

We invite PhD candidates to submit an extended abstract in May. This can be a research proposal for first-year PhD candidates or a relevant piece of your research (which could be a paper, an overview of the current state of research, or a chapter of your PhD thesis ) for 2nd year PhD candidates and beyond.

Before the full proposal submission, you should submit a short abstract, providing concise information on the literature your work is embedded in, the methodological approach you are using and, if relevant, preliminary results you can share.

Please, submit your short abstract here:
